Universal Studios has announced that they have pulled "Little Fockers" from it's slated opening on July 30 and moved it to December 22. "Little Fockers", with Ben Stiller and Robert Deniro is the sequel to the highly popular comedy "Meet The Fockers".
A representative for Universal said the studio is being "opportunistic" with its scheduling moves after noting the absence of a big comedy in the mix of 2010 holiday titles. Slated to open in that same time frame is "Gulliver's Travels" starring Jack Black, "The Green Hornet" with Seth Rogan, and "True Grit" featuring Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin.
Opening in the spot vacated by Fockers will be Matt Damon's thriller "The Adjustment Bureau". "Adjustment Bureau" co-stars include Emily Blunt and Terence Stamp. "Adjustment Bureau" competition includes Lionsgate's "The Expendables" and Sony's Julia Roberts starrer "Eat, Pray, Love."
