"2012". Here's The Five Minute Clip Released By Columbia Pictures.

A five minute clip for 2012 that Columbia Pictures aired to the largest American media roadblock ever on the major broadcast networks, local stations in the top 70 markets, and nearly 450 television stations in North America.

Of course the film "2012" is the latest end of the world disaster flick by producer Roland Emmerich, the wizard of mayhem who brought us such films as "Independence Day",  "The Day After Tomorrow" the revamped "Godzilla" and of course "10,000 B.C."

The basic plot of "2012" is that the Mayan calendar ends in that year and that the world will also.  It is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

Among the cast members are:

John Cusack as Jackson Curtis

Woody Harrelson as Charlie Frost

Thandie Newton as Laura Wilson

Amanda Peet as Kate

Oliver Platt as Karl Anheuser

Danny Glover as President Wilson

and

George Segal as Tony DelGado

The film is slated to open on November 13.
