Classic Western TV Show "The Big Valley" Makes It To Hulu.

I don't know when they posted season one of "The Big Valley" on Hulu.Com, but it is there for your enjoyment. Starring Barbara Stanwyck, Richard Long, Lee Majors, Linda Evans, and Peter Breck, ran for four seasons on ABC from 1965-69. If you look for it on DVD you can only find season one and half of season two. They released the first season as a full set and then got greedy and offered only half a season for the same price. I am guessing that is why no further episodes were ever released as sales for season two, volume one were probably disappointing.

The Big Valley is the Emmy-winning saga of the Barkleys, set in 1870s California. They're a close-knit family, wealthy and prestigious, but use their power to help the less fortunate homesteaders who struggle for a piece of the new land. The cast features Barbara Stanwyck as the matriarch, Linda Evans as her daughter, and Lee Majors as the stepson. THE BIG VALLEY is riveting drama and exciting action — 112 color hours of television at its finest.

At any rate, here is EARTHQUAKE, one of my favorite episodes and guest starring Charles Bronson. An earthquake traps Victoria in a cave with a violent drunk and a pregnant Indian. For a classic screen actress, Barbara Stanwyck was extremely gutsy in this role. During the one color season of Wagon Train, she appeared in two episodes as a lady who was even rougher and tougher than you see her here.
