Clinton's Universal Health Care Plan Doesn't Pass The Smell Test

In other words, I think it stinks. I wonder how many Clinton supporters among the struggling blue collar workers would support her if they knew that not signing up for her health plan could result in your wages being garnisheed. And that it probably doesn't cover everyone. According to Newsweek.com:

Clinton stretches things a bit. Her plan – which, unlike Obama's, includes a mandate for individuals to get insurance – would leave out a million people or perhaps more, depending on how severe the penalties would be for those who don't comply. She won't say how her mandate would be enforced, but has said that she was open to the possibility of garnishing wages.

Clinton has not stated what the enforcement mechanism would be under her plan, and she has been evasive when responding to questions on this point. However, she recently said, after much prodding, that garnishing wages was a possibility, along with automatic enrollments or some measure through the tax system.

I don't know about you but I'm not too keen about having someone in office who is going to force you into something that you may not want because among other things, you can't afford it. And since there is no discussion of how much this plan is going to cost you, I don't want to take any chances. You can read the full article at Newsweek.com by clicking here.
