Image via WikipediaSal Picinich, a baker on the popular 'Cake Boss' on TLC passed away Sunday after a battle with cancer. He was 63.Sal, born in Croatia, worked at Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey for 45 years before falling ill in 2009.
Buddy Valastro, the show's namesake "Cake Boss," referred to Picinich as a "second father," said Carlo's Bakery publicist Adam Bourcier.
A funeral will be held in New Jersey on February 4.
