George Lucas Cult Classic "Howard The Duck": Watch It Here.

howardtheduckJPG

Based on the popular comic book at the time, Howard The Duck was lambasted by the critics and viewers at the time it came out.  I went to see it at a theater in Cleveland, Ohio at the time however, and thought it was outrageously funny.  In what other movie can you see Lea Thompson getting it on with a duck?

The film also starred Tim Robbins.  Another person in the film, Paul Guilfoyle, plays Lieutenant Brass on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Hulu.Com describes the movie in this manner:

Movie wizard George Lucas presents this comedy adventure about a fast-talking, cigar-chomping, beer-loving duck from a parallel universe who somehow winds up in Cleveland. The incredible fantasy has Howard in love with rock singer Beverly Switzler (Lea Thompson), and doing battle with the evil Dark Overlord as he attempts to return to his own planet. The zany spoof of life, love, comic books and horror movies is a wholesome good time.

The film was released on August 1, 1986.  If you want to watch the best of the worst, hit play now.
