Green Lantern Film Edges Closer To Spring Shoot

According to Alex Billington at FirstShowing.net the filming of The Green Lantern movie is set to begin filming in the spring.  Billington spoke briefly with producer Donald DeLine who is developing the picture.

According to Billington, DeLine said:

"a new draft of the script came in" and they're "gearing up to start shooting early spring."

DeLine also said:

"it's coming together and I'm excited about it. Hopefully we'll make it to start gate. We're really close - really close."

It has also been confirmed by DeLine that Greg Berlanti of "Everwood" and The Broken Hearts Club, will be directing.

Since Green Lantern was one of my favorites growing up, this is great news.

In the meantime, the video that is posted here is  a fan made trailer posted by sector1014 on YouTube.  I thought it was well done.
