Christian Slater's "My Own Worst Enemy" Shows Promise.

Christian Slater stars as both Henry Spivey and Edward Albright in this new series that arrives on NBC in October.  Looks like a great addition to the lineup that includes "Chuck" and "Heroes" on that night.

First of all, with Christian Slater it should be a can't miss, although time and time again tv series have shown that isn't always the case with well established stars.  But, in this one, the premise for this show is pretty interesting.  According to the official web page for "My Own Worst Enemy", this series is about the following:

It is a show that raises the question, "Who can you trust when you can't trust yourself?"  Henry (Slater) is a middle-class efficiency expert living a humdrum life in the suburbs with his family.   Edward (also Slater) is an operative who speaks nine languages, runs a four minute mile, and is trained to kill.  Albright works at Janus Headquarters for Marvis Heller (Alfre Woodard), a tough woman with a hidden compassionate side.

Henry and Edward are polar opposites who share only one thing in common - the same body.  When the carefully constructed wall between them breaks down, Henry and Edward are thrust into unfamiliar territory where each man is dangerously out of his element.

Mike O' Malley and Saffron Brown also are part of the cast.  O' Malley plays a sadistic and violent secret agent and Brown plays the psychologist who knows what is going on with Slater's dual identities.

I know I will definitely be adding this to my DVR list and can't wait to see it.  In the meantime, enjoy these short clips.
