Veering Off Course

You may be wondering why there are no posts over the results of the elections that were held yesterday. Well, after watching hours of talking heads give their onerous opinions on what happened I realized it is nothing but the same old talking points and that half of the time most of these people are so slanted towards one candidate or another that there was nothing to be learned. On top of that, what they say is so often off the mark that I just couldn't take it anymore. Example: So many analysts saying Clinton won because of the negative advertising, even though the exit polls showed that this wasn't the reason at all. No matter, as they try to inject their political leanings toward the public, the facts are irrelevant to their opinions. Distasteful reporting. And I must confess, some of my posts related to Clinton and Obama fall in the same trap.

So, what I've decided to do is take a break from the campaign posts unless something truly newsworthy or interesting pops up. If you look back in the archives, you'll get a taste of what I'm going to be presenting in future posts for awhile. When a candidate is finally decided for the Democrats, and the push is on to defeat Sen. John Mc(more of the same)Cain, then we will once again discuss politics.
