Using the same technology as he did for 'The Polar Express', only this time it being much more advanced, director Robert Zemeckis brings Charles Dicken's 'A Christmas Carol' to life. The film stars Jim Carrey not only as Ebeneezer Scrooge, but also as the three spirits who come to haunt him. The film will be coming out at the start of the holiday season.
In this short clip, Scrooge is greeted by the ghost of Jacob Marley. While the artwork is amazing, it still seems to me that this motion capture technology is still lacking in the realistic fluidity department. But, of course, maybe this clip is just to short to be sure and we will have to wait and see.
