Remember When TV Stars Did Ads For Their Sponsors?

Back in the fifties and sixties, most television shows were sponsored by one major advertiser.  As part of their deal, the stars of those shows had to do advertisements as their characters, usually shown near the end of the program.  Someone put a compilation of these together and posted them at Archive.Org.  It's a real trip down memory lane for most of us boomers. From The Beverly Hillbillies, Dennis The Menace, The Lone Ranger,  Hogan's Heroes, The Andy Griffith Show,  and many more, you will definitely get a kick out of all of them.  It's rare that us boomers get to enjoy the things we took for granted as kids.   Watch it and enjoy.

I have mentioned them very often in the past, but another plug for Archive.Org, which specializes in Public Domain material, is well deserved.  If you have never been there, you should make it a point to go there and check it out.  There is endless hours of fascinating material there.
