The year was 1988. Here is a video of Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin (nee Heath) bringing all of the latest sports news from a local channel in Alaska. Only in this country can someone achieve so much in so little time.
And here is one more video that I just had to add. It is a guest video on Craig Ferguson's show where as the Governor of Alaska, she makes Craig an honorary citizen. He describes her as looking like a naughty librarian.
