Johnny Depp Returns To Screen In "Public Enemies". Watch The Trailer Here.

Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as notorious gangster John Dillinger in Michael Mann's "Public Enemies".  The film also stars Christian Bale and 2008 Best Actress Oscar® winner Marion Cotillard.

TrailerAddict.Com provides this description:

In the action-thriller Public Enemies, acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Academy Award® winner Marion Cotillard in the incredible and true story of legendary Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger (Depp)the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoovers fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public. No one could stop Dillinger. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyonefrom his girlfriend Billie Frechette (Cotillard) to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression.
But while the adventures of Dillinger's ganglater including the sociopathic Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham)thrilled many, Hoover (Billy Crudup) hit on the idea of exploiting the outlaw's capture as a way to elevate his Bureau of Investigation into the national police force that became the FBI. He made Dillinger America's first Public Enemy Number One. Hoover sent in Purvis, the dashing "Clark Gable of the FBI". However, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis' men in wild chases and shootouts. Only after importing a crew of Western ex-lawmen (newly baptized as agents) who were real gunfighters and orchestrating epic betrayals from the infamous "Lady in Red" to the Chicago crime boss Frank Nittiwere Purvis and the FBI able to close in on Dillinger.

McLintock: One Of John Wayne's Most Popular Movies. You Can Watch It Here!

McLintock! is one of my favorite John Wayne movies.  It's a hilarious western romp starring Wayne and Maureen O' Hara.  Wikipedia explains it best with this description:

McLintock! is a 1963 comedy Western starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, and loosely based on Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. The film is famous (or infamous) for its two spanking scenes, in which mother and daughter are each paddled with coal shovels: the daughter by her suitor, the mother by her estranged husband. Produced by John Wayne's Batjac Productions for United Artists, John Wayne's estate retained the rights to the film. Legal suits prevented the film's copyright from being renewed, causing the film to enter the public domain. Despite being available in public domain distributors for the past decade, the first official home video issue of the film was released in the mid-1990s by MPI Home Video. Years later, in 2005, Paramount struck a distribution deal with Batjac and thus is now the home video rights holder for this film.

The official DVD presentation includes restored and remastered video and audio with extensive documentary, commentary, and bonus features. The High and the Mighty, Hondo, and Island in the Sky — three other John Wayne features — faced the same situation and were issued around the same time.

Cattle baron George Washington McLintock is living the single life on his ranch. He is estranged from his wife Katherine who left him two years before, suspecting him of adultery. McLintock hires beautiful widow Louise Warren as his cook and welcomes both her and her two children into his home. Sparks begin to fly as an unexpected turn of events results in brawls, gunfire, an Indian attack...and the return of Mrs. McLintock, who wants custody over their daughter Becky (who returns from college only a few days after her mother's arrival) and a divorce!

Thanks to Joost.Com, if you have never seen it, you can watch it right here.  Enjoy!

Judd Apatow Teams Up With Adam Sandler For "Funny People". Watch The Trailer.

Let's face it.  Most of Adam Sandler's films over the last few years have been pretty much crap.  The question now is can Judd Apatow, the director of  "Knocked Up", and "The 40 Year Old Virgin", help return Sandler to his former status as an off-the-wall comedian with hit after hit?  Well, this film doesn't look so much wild and crazy as it is an extremely funny story about a stand up comedian facing death.  The trailer for the film is actually pretty good and may interest both fans and nonfans of Adam Sandler.  Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, and Jonah Hill, all Apatow regulars, are also in the film.

Trailer Addict.Com gives this description:

Over the past few years, writer/director Judd Apatow ('The 40-Year-Old Virgin,' 'Knocked Up') has shown that nothing -- not even losing your virginity or the miracle of childbirth -- is sacred. About his third film behind the camera, he says, "I'm trying to make a very serious movie that is twice as funny as my other movies. Wish me luck!" Apatow directs Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann in 'Funny People,' the story of a famous comedian who has a near-death experience.

New Trailer For "Terminator: Salvation. You Can Watch It Here.

This is the latest trailer for "Terminator: Salvation", which stars Christian Bale, better known as The Dark Knight.  The film opens nationwide on May 22, 2009.

TrailerAddict.Com gives this description:

In the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

I'll admit that when this film was first announced I was very skeptical, especially after the disaster of Terminator 3.  But with McG behind the helm, it looks from this latest trailer that this movie is going to be one heckuva ride.  Watch this latest trailer and judge for yourself.
