Batman Gotham Knight - Official Trailer

Batman Gotham Knight is a fresh and exciting new entry into the Batman mythos, spinning out of a 40-year history in animation including the Emmy®-winning Batman: The Animated Series, widely considered a pivotal moment in American animation. A cross section of distinguished creators, award winning producers, and acclaimed writers weave six interlocking stories that reveal Bruce Wayne’s journey to Dark Knight, each with stylish art from some of the world’s most revered animation visionaries.

And here is what is known as a "sizzle" reel.

Thought it was interesting to see Gary Dourdan of "CSI" and David McCallum of "The Man From Uncle" as two of the voices in this movie. I didn't even know David McCallum was still alive. At any rate, along with Kevin Conroy, all three men are pretty talented and this looks like a great animated film. Even if you're not into "cartoons", I bet you would enjoy this.

City Of Ember Arrives In October

Okay, so this movie slipped past my radar, but after watching the trailer and visiting the website, it now is currently on my list of must sees! Rather than expounding further, I thought it would be better to just put this widget in a post so that you can retrieve whatever information you want about it. The trailer is especially good.

MAXIM Magazine Takes Peek At "Alone In The Dark"

Photobucket

The June 2008 issue of MAXIM Magazine mentions the upcoming Atari Videogame "Alone In The Dark". In their Game On section they preview three games. In regards to AITD, Maxim had this to say:

The series that created the survival horror genre is back. This time,
besides a typical arsenal, you also have improvised weapons like brooms and
table legs to help you battle evil in a faithfully re-created Central
Park. Sound lame? Dark's "fire engine" aims to create the best flames
ever seen in a video game, so light 'em up and flambe your foes.

Can't complain with that assessment nor can I wait till I get my hands on this game! By the way, you can preorder this at Gamestop.

The Original "The Incredible Hulk".

From the first season of "The Incredible Hulk" comes this story that is set in Las Vegas. I thought that since they say the new Hulk movie that is coming out is more like the tv series than the previous movie, I would post an episode here to refresh your memory if you remember the show, and to introduce the younger people to the show.

The Original Speed Racer

Looks like the 18 million first week box office for Speed Racer spells doom for any sequel that may have been thought about. The mostly negative reviews for the movie seemed to leave the movie theaters mostly empty as moviegoers continued to line up for Iron Man. Perhaps if they had just released the original animated show to theaters they could have saved a little (100 million) money. At any rate, since they didn't do that, I decided to offer up an episode here. Enjoy. If you want to see part two, go to Hulu.Com.

ALONE IN THE DARK IS ON THE WAY

Release Date: June 24, 2008 Genre: Adventure/Action/Horror Consoles: PS2, PC, XBOX 360, Wii & *PS3 (*release date tbd) Taking the fear to a new level, the next-gen Alone in the Dark features the macabre style of the series played with new gameplay mechanics and a broader-reaching, action-packed play style. Explore fully-interactive realtime worlds, interacting with physics and roaming the wide-open, fright-filled environments. This next-gen Alone in the Dark is also built around a unique episodic game structure -- the story is split into a number of distinct 30-40 minute episodes, doled out one at a time as you play. Each time the player launches a saved game, the episode will begin with a video summary of the previous episode to quickly re-immerse the player in the story and removing the need to remember where they were or what they were doing. Every episode will close with a nail-biting cliff-hanger ending to rattle players’ nerves, and if the player is leaving the game a video teaser of the next episode will play to leave them wanting more. IGN.com had a preview look of AITD. Go here to read what they thought and also watch videos of the gameplay.
