Clinton Gives Windy Speech In Virginia
Clinton spouts off her already tired old rhetoric that she is the only candidate that can defeat Sen. John McCain. From this speech, it seems that she must have forgotten that their were elections held in other states. She was criticized by CNN reporters earlier tonight for not even thanking the few who voted for her in those states. Her goal now is to nab the delegates of the white racist voters from Texas (Jena 6 anyone?) and Ohio (I grew up there, and believe me, racism runs rampant in Ohio) in order to further her faltering campaign.

Money Wars
Tucker on MSNBC leads a discussion on fundraising for Presidential candidates and who has the advantage. There is also a short but funny discussion about money spent by Romney and Guliani on the delegates they obtained.

(C) 2517 Argonne Road, home where suspect lives.A man charged into a school where his estranged wife was a teacher Thursday morning, fired a gun before he stabbed her as her fifth-grade class watched, police said. Police originally said William Michael Layne shot his wife at Notre Dame Elementary, but Chief Charles Horner said it was unclear whether a gunshot fired in the school hit her.

Police originally said William Michael Layne shot his wife at Notre Dame Elementary, but Chief Charles Horner said it was unclear whether a gunshot fired in the school hit her.
Minutes before the teacher was stabbed, police say her husband stabbed and wounded a different woman in an alley about five blocks from the school.
Horner said at a news conference that he did not know whether that victim, Stephanie Loop, 22, knew the teacher. Loop was also in critical condition.
Christi Layne had filed for divorce Jan. 25.
"She was terrified something like this would happen," said Rebecca Bennett, Christi Layne's lawyer.
The shooting happened around 9 a.m. at the Catholic school on Portsmouth's main road. Student Emmaly Baker said she hid in the classroom's coatroom when the gunman came.

Will I. Am Performs "Yes We Can", Inspired By Barack Obama's Speech
Song & video, featuring a star cast, by Will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas. Inspired by Barack Obama's 'Yes We Can' speech.
It was a creed written into the founding documents that declared the destiny of a nation.
Yes we can.
It was whispered by slaves and abolitionists as they blazed a trail toward freedom.
Yes we can.
It was sung by immigrants as they struck out from distant shores and pioneers who pushed westward against an unforgiving wilderness.
Yes we can.
It was the call of workers who organized; women who reached for the ballots; a President who chose the moon as our new frontier; and a King who took us to the mountaintop and pointed the way to the Promised Land.
Yes we can to justice and equality.
Yes we can to opportunity and prosperity.
Yes we can heal this nation.
Yes we can repair this world.
Yes we can.
We know the battle ahead will be long, but always remember that no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change.
We have been told we cannot do this by a chorus of cynics...they will only grow louder and more dissonant ........... We've been asked to pause for a reality check. We've been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope.
But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope.
Now the hopes of the little girl who goes to a crumbling school in Dillon are the same as the dreams of the boy who learns on the streets of LA; we will remember that there is something happening in America; that we are not as divided as our politics suggests; that we are one people; we are one nation; and together, we will begin the next great chapter in the American story with three words that will ring from coast to coast; from sea to shining sea --
Yes. We. Can.

Dems Send Out The Big Guns On The Campaign Trail
Interesting is that Bill Clinton's statement shown in this video at a church congregation is a thought that has probably crossed a lot of people's minds. As Super Tuesday comes closer, the candidates are both giving it their all to convince voter's that they are the one, Hillary by her experience, and Obama as the Washington outsider. This report by MSNBC shows what happened on today's campaign trail.

Clinton Lead Goes Down The Toilet
USA Today reported the following online today:
Barack Obama has surged to a statistical tie with Hillary Rodham Clinton in a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll, erasing a double-digit national lead she held just two weeks ago and turning the Democratic nomination race into a nail-biter.
The pair stood at Clinton 45%, Obama 44% in a snapshot of voter intent just two days before 22 states hold primaries and caucuses on Super Tuesday.
On the Republican side, Arizona Sen. John McCain gained 11 percentage points for a decisive 42%-24% lead over former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.
McCain, who has drawn strength in past contests from independents and moderates, beat Romney 41%-26% among Republicans or independents leaning Republican in the poll and 38%-28% among conservatives.
